In the play we often have scenes which take place in Hades (technically not hell) - which was a very wet place. I put together a series of loops which created (hopefully) a sort of expansive feeling of there being more to this space than we immediately see. The original track was about 2 hours long and constantly playing on a dedicated system so that all the sound tech had to do was fade in or out as needed. Specificity was not important.
This track is the least like its original form in that I went in and edited it down to something which had all of the key elements of the original 2 hours while adding some sort of structure after the fact to make it more of a proper track. Given that anyone still listening to my music understands that the structure will always be a little bit problematic.
